Free AI Search Audit

Before anyone hires you, they ask ChatGPT about you first. This shows you what it can actually read.

Four checks, about ten seconds. Your site, or your LinkedIn if the site is out of date. No sign-up, no card.

A buyer asks
who are the best leadership speakers for a corporate offsite?

They never tell you they looked.

AI checks four things
01Is it allowed to read you 02Is there a file explaining you 03Does the markup name you 04Can your writing be quoted
One of two things happens
It names you. You are on the shortlist before anyone has spoken to you.
It names someone else. You never find out. You only see that the enquiry never came.

How it works

A read of your site in about ten seconds.

1. Enter your address

Your site, or your LinkedIn if the site is out of date. We fetch the page, your robots file, your llms.txt and your sitemap at once.

2. Four checks run

Crawler access, the file that explains you, the markup naming you, and whether your writing can be quoted.

3. You get a plan

A score, what each check found in plain language, and a fix list ranked by what moves first.

Let ChatGPT tell everyone about your expertise.

Get a clear plan to dominate your industry across AI search platforms.

Key takeaways

An AI system answering a question about you does not read your website the way a person does. It checks four things: whether it is allowed in, whether a file exists explaining who you are, whether the page carries markup naming you, and whether your writing can be quoted.

A site that ranks well on Google can still be invisible in AI answers. Fewer than one in ten pages cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot rank in Google's top ten for the same question.

This check reads what a machine reads: your page, your robots file, your llms.txt and your sitemap. It scores twenty seven signals across six categories in about ten seconds.

For an expert whose name is the product, the markup naming you as a person is usually the biggest gap and the fastest thing to fix.

The difference

Why a normal SEO audit misses all of this.

SEO audits were built for a page of ten blue links. Keywords, backlinks, page speed. Those decide whether you appear in a list someone still has to read.

AI does not hand over a list. It answers, and it names a few people. Whether you are one of them depends on whether a machine can work out who you are, not on how many sites link to you. A consultant with a small site and clean markup gets named ahead of a better known one whose site says nothing a machine can parse.

This is not a discipline problem. The rules changed quietly. Search used to be a list of ten links you could work your way up. Now it is one answer with three names in it, and almost nobody updated their site for that.

What we check

Four things, all of them mechanical.

Whether AI is allowed in

Nine crawlers, including the ones behind ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. If any are turned away, nothing else you fix matters.

The file that explains you

llms.txt, a short plain-text summary of who you are and who you serve. Most sites do not have one.

Markup that names you

The code saying you are a person, what you do, and which profiles belong to you. Usually the biggest gap.

Whether you can be quoted

Headings, structure, and whether you answer questions outright instead of circling them.

From audit to action

How to improve your AI search score.

Work the fixes in this order. The first two clear hard blockers. The rest compound how often you get named.

01

Read your score and your blockers

The check returns a number and the exact signals dragging it down. Work from the top.
02

Let the crawlers in first

If your robots file turns away the systems behind ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity, nothing else counts. Open it before anything else.
03

Add the files and markup you are missing

Publish an llms.txt, then add the code that tells AI who you are and which profiles belong to you. This is the one most people need help with.
04

Rewrite for direct answers

Open each section with the question a buyer types, then answer it in the first sentence. That sentence is what gets lifted.
05

Recheck and watch it move

Run this again in four to eight weeks as the platforms recrawl. Crawler access is the one fix that can land sooner.
Questions

Answered plainly.

What is an AI search audit?

A check of whether AI systems can find, read and repeat who you are. Regular SEO asks whether you rank in a list of links. This asks whether you get named in an answer.

Why doesn't ChatGPT mention me?

Usually one of three reasons. Your site turns the crawlers away, there is no markup telling it you are a person worth naming, or your bio says different things in different places so it cannot tell which is true.

Is it really free?

Yes. No account and no card. The score is instant. The fix plan asks for an email so it can be sent to you.

What score should I aim for?

Above 80 means the mechanics are sound and what is left is reputation. Below 40 means an AI asked about you is guessing.

You have spent years becoming the person people should call.

Right now a machine is answering that question for you, and it has never heard of you.
